One day at a women's prayer meeting we were taking prayer requests. I put patience down. A much more mature Christian friend said, "NO! You don't ever want to pray for patience!". I asked "why not?". She said you learn patience through trial and tribulations.

No wonder I had such a hard time with my little ones! Patience was learned, though.

Love your Sunday postings. and all the rest of the week, too!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09381096745893230939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-1443122710797905632012-12-09T23:51:36.026-06:002012-12-09T23:51:36.026-06:00I'm glad to see that you met your deadline to ...I'm glad to see that you met your deadline to get your blog posted.

;)

Jayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05265115976155488097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-46246103007999859012012-12-09T23:18:03.616-06:002012-12-09T23:18:03.616-06:00John, I fell for the Pine, Harvard on the Hill, an...John, I fell for the Pine, Harvard on the Hill, and MaMa Tillys (gone now but not forgoten) the summer of 81. I have always said that "You either love South West Texas the moment you see it or you Hate it. I have yet to meet anyone who had it grow on them." However the land and the area will force patience upon you. I look forward to your post and pics daily as they give me a sence of touching home. Thanks for your blog. Stockton...but sometimes I get stuck at the train crossing in Alpine. My record time from upstate NY back to Manhattan was 2 hours. I thought I was gonna beat that record one time till I hit traffic on the BQE. Total drive time that day was 4 hours. Those distractions are gone now. Plenty of time for patience.John Wellshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12783305402239706779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-10275749151099632192012-12-09T20:13:14.795-06:002012-12-09T20:13:14.795-06:00re: patience
