It&#...WhyR: I have contemplated that very thought. It's a little tricky keeping the rain off the front of the waterproof housing on the GoPro. First of all it is a fairly wide lens so a hood can't be too close. Second of all, the rain tends to blow in from all directions during a storm. So I guess the answer is...probably not. As long as it doesn't obscure the image too much I don't mind because the story is about rain after all. And I like the way the water drops eventually evaporate.
