Another big problem is that they tend to plug up a lot and that was on city water. It was disappointing.

Basic plan: I picked up the misting tube/misters from a kit at Lowes or Home Depot. Connected it to a 2 gallon sprayer. Added water and pumped the sprayer = portable misting system.

the problem that I found was that the misters dump too much mist, if you sit under them you get drenched. It did cool the patio, but so would dumping a bucket of water over your head.

I hope you have better luck than I did.Quixote Kidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15805412500867597343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-81640523718375223432012-03-28T08:49:58.096-05:002012-03-28T08:49:58.096-05:00hmmm...the link to Canopy Cool worked yesterday bu...hmmm...the link to Canopy Cool worked yesterday but now it doesnt...so I posted a link to a youtube video.John Wellshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12783305402239706779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-45987983676038868792012-03-28T08:26:18.538-05:002012-03-28T08:26:18.538-05:00John,

Also, my two-cents on your Pepino padding--I've tried other kinds but nothing ever worked quite as well as good old aspen. I think the looseness of the weave may have had something to do with it and also its absorbency and inclination to hold water longer.
