Eventually a biotic layer would form on the surface which would help remove some of the contaminants that slowly dripped through the system. It would not kill the microbes but at least you would end up with clear, non-smelly water.Maxcactushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10857360652180728338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-38979484848193393262009-09-11T20:05:05.026-05:002009-09-11T20:05:05.026-05:00Interesting solar water purifier. I have some big blocks of foam and a sheet of glass. I think I'll try it too. With a gravity/syphon feed, this makes for a ingenius system.Grant Wagnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00366349480592207557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-12815281364614750442009-09-11T00:12:37.662-05:002009-09-11T00:12:37.662-05:00This is interesting, youll be able to write a fiel...This is interesting, youll be able to write a field manual about when your done.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-53585893455984892032009-09-10T23:47:00.197-05:002009-09-10T23:47:00.197-05:00I have to admit the Shanty is interesting.
