woosh!


Nice cloudy morning...then some sun...a trip south to stock up then the rain pounded the Field Lab.  Got about 3/4" total over the last 5 days then almost the same amount in 40 minutes late this afternoon.  No place to put the water so I just watched it flow away.  The frogs are chirping tonight.  Good bye road.  74,94,69, .64", B

    All your water tanks are full? Had 12" of rain at my place south of houston friday and I swear...there were carp swimming thru the front yard. happy 4TH

    That is a beautiful shot of the rushing water. What a shame you dont have any more tanks to store all this extra water. At the same time what an enviable position that the ones you have are full.

    That is a lot of water to see go by. To bad you don't have a pond or reservoir to store it in. Is that your road where the water is running? Hang in their. hope not but you may have more rain coming. Sorry!

    I wonder, rather than letting erosion ruin the area around the dam, how about installing a hydro electric generator for the excess? Then downstream you can dig another reservoir and fill your tanks from it
