buh bye Ural...

Plant lady Maria brough out her colleague Dr. Jim to check on the Cat's Eye plants today...still blooming.  Sold the Ural to my new friend Chris - he will give it the home it deserves.  59,72,29,0,W

I think it's nice that the "plant lady" comes down to your place to study the area flora. The first time I came to Terlingua, in 2001, I met a guy from Sul Ross University who was a graduate student, and desert botanist. He really opened my eyes to all the fascinating plant live in your area.

So Long to the Ural. It just looks so cool, and really added an interesting touch to The Field Lab. Guess it was expensive to have it hanging around as only an ornament, though.
