and you thought Floppy was a first class pain in the ass..I doubt it will take both of those to straighten Carl out......but maybe, it doesn't appear the mauling slowed him down
Good dirt . . . although some might argue sustainability. (3 bags here this year so far) Add compost in future years and, dare I say, some Osmicote and it will be just as good as new!
The label says "5.56" so it looks like you went the small-caliber/high capacity/lower cost route with your AR. Last year I decided to go the longer range/higher power route and bought a .308/7.62 AR carbine, plus an AR in .243 for my son's deer hunting (the AR's have much lower perceived recoil than bolt actions). Let's all hope we never need these guns for anything other than hunting and target shooting. For basic home defense I like my 12-gauge pump shotgun best.
Our little hen likes to dig in the flower beds, too. I have to shoo her away and sweep the mulch back. I know she's just looking for something fresh to eat. I reckon Carl is finding some insects to harvest, even out there in the desert.
The ammo looks cool. The green tips really do it. Would not want to see one of 'em headed my way, though.
Somebodies got themselves some mil-spec 855 (green tip & annealed cases) for an AR. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteUmmmm -- Is that for the unwelcome guest or the dog of earlier in the week?
ReplyDeleteSerious strike 3 message there.
Now I know chickens sometimes make/leave messes around, but two full clips seems a little over kill .

ReplyDeleteLooks like Carl found the only moist dirt on the property to lay in, lol.
ReplyDeleteCarl is sooo cute :o) Maybe you should have named him Wilbur...he seems to be part pig.
