Kinda sad to tear down Ben's first home at TFL. Lots of memories there although it was only a couple of months. I spent some time with him this afternoon and he said it was OK...he is quite happy with his new house and yard. ( actually, what he said was, "What pen?...and how come I don't get a bottle anymore?")

You really have to be careful of his horns now.
ReplyDeleteNotice in the video how I always keep a hand on the horn closest to my skull.
ReplyDeleteYeah you might just have to invest in some horn knobs/balls when Ben's horns reach full spread.
ReplyDeleteyou could get some old tennis balls and put on his horns for now.
ReplyDeleteWould love some post cards and t-shirts of Ben and Carl
Really enjoyed watching that video. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteTrivia Question:
ReplyDeleteWhich home cost more money to build?
Ben's Current Pen and Barn?
John's First Shack he has lived in for several years?
I don't know the answer, but I bet John knows.
Always good to spend time with your boy, if you know what I'm saying...
ReplyDeleteI'll be smiling all day after watching that.
ReplyDeletePretty nice, John. For a second there I thought he was going to try to eat your hat.
ReplyDeleteAllen....better my hat than my beard!

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this clip :-) Life is good! We live just outside Lubbock and have been to the Terlingua Ranch 'lodge' house once 2 summers ago, planning retirement, and bought the two maps of the area from them. When I began research on solar, wind and rain I came upon your blog and it has been very helpful. May YHWH our God continue to bless you.
ReplyDeleteGreat Video John. Thanks for sharing it with us.
