No, I doubt Ben will "be OK with it". Nor will Bud. John, is Bud going to auction, or did you take the time to find him a caring owner? If Ben starts acting up, will you send him packing too? Benita's legacy is tarnished now.
I don't think this tarnishes Benita's legacy though, as Buddy from what I remember was a gift from a rancher friend. Ben seems to be a good boy and from his previous post he is indeed "shopping for a gentler companion" for him :)
I hope it's for the best but I can't help feeling sad. God bless you Buddy.
