There are so many ways you could do it. I was thinking a cut-out on the south side, with a sliding glass door, would give lots of light, direct ingress/egress from the outside without having to go through the courtyard, and a feeling of spaciousness in an otherwise constricted living space. I know you'll come up with a great JW/TFL solution.

As always, best of luck with all you do.Allen Harehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00500590136731959920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-2815382297385829312012-09-04T17:44:26.306-05:002012-09-04T17:44:26.306-05:00Speaking of those storms, I had an entertaining mo...Speaking of those storms, I had an entertaining morning getting stuck and rescued out by red bluff today. You'll be happier if you dont increase your flock until you need to, remember your chickens will stop laying a couple years before the end of their lives, if you don't plan to turn them into McNuggets at that point then you will have extraneous hens for awhile and will be glad you don't have a gynormous flock. You can always get two new girls when the older ones stop laying.Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01498795574868622989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-23627778761419054282012-09-04T13:01:10.780-05:002012-09-04T13:01:10.780-05:00Thanks for the rooster edu....learn something new ...Thanks for the rooster edu....learn something new everydaywicketshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07649102089336850314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-83975504123543414322012-09-04T06:54:16.767-05:002012-09-04T06:54:16.767-05:00Wow, this blog really got busy after the Sunday po...Wow, this blog really got busy after the Sunday post (lol)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-19465692mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04018387374478754620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-26444985230057377902012-09-04T06:20:29.734-05:002012-09-04T06:20:29.734-05:00the rooster must mate with the hen to fertilize th...the rooster must mate with the hen to fertilize the egg wickets so tell that rooster to keep it in his pants. lolAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-71256532649518629002012-09-04T06:17:33.716-05:002012-09-04T06:17:33.716-05:00good stuff john. i bet those eggs were so much fre...good stuff john. i bet those eggs were so much fresher then anything you could get in a store or some resturant. part of the fun of this must be the experiments in sustanable living . it would sur suck to buy twenty hens and learn about rasing chickens for eggs and then realize you could only eat two eggs a day as that is all you wanted. paying all that cash for them all and then discovering that a critter dug into your chicken coup and killed half of em. starting small isnt always bad. yummy good now ya know john everything is better with bacon. lol i underdstand theres a lot of ferrell pigs in texas. any around your area. yummy goodAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120586935905234915.post-49216847063384419672012-09-04T05:51:40.013-05:002012-09-04T05:51:40.013-05:00my hens are virgins.
