tied'n'formed'n'poured
Prepped and capped the north entrance....and set the rebar for the south side. Actually put in about 5 hours today which was worth it - I keep forgetting that if I don't do it...it aint gonna get done. 57,78,28,0
I know what you mean about reminding yourself about working. If you don't do it it is never going to get done. I have to remind me to get off my ass and do what needs to be done.
Well 5 hours a day working for yourself sounds like heaven to me. I walk into a caverness building with no windows and put in my 8 or 10 for the corporation where my boss can't even pronounce my name. There is a band I like called SNOG and they have a song I identify with named " Slave to the Corporation". 1 more year..I CAN DO IT!
That's a lot of work, John, and some good looking work too. I see you still have that borrowed scaffold. Guess you still have some "second story" work left to do. Looking forward to seeing that roofing material goin up. Best of luck with all.
I've been meaning to ask -- I don't see any or much mortar between the bricks. Are they drystacked & rebar, or...?
