grinder...

Drizzly morning.  Mostly a day inside at the computer.  Slow/steady rain overnight but the road was OK by noon.  Had a GrubShack lunch (no meat) and was there just in time to meet up with UPS.  Manny dropped off the manual stainless steel meat grinder I ordered.  Just in time as I started a batch of wheat sprouts just yesterday.  Hoping to perfect the perfect organic loaf of Field Lab Solar Oven Sprouted Wheat Bread.
Benita was soaked this morning but didn't seem to mind.  She took off this afternoon but a new cow came in to learn that hand feeding is really not that bad.  I think this one kinda looks like Benita and may be one of her daughters.  I named her Betty after the founder of the GrubShack. 73,84,66, .24",B

  4. Intresting juxtaposition of a meat grinder with a "pet" cow!
That's a handsome cow. I really like the little curved, swept back tips of her horns. They look more aerodynamic that way!

Are you about to start the greenhouse roofing yet?

    Good luck with it all.

  5. Another beauty for John's bovine harem! You'll be able to buy more hay and range pellets for the girls and Benito now with all that money saved from buying Spam ;).
