old style monday...
Decided to go to work today just like the masses. Had to take advantage of a perfect weather day since we got 2 crappy ones coming up. Seven hours of up and down and 6 sheets of polycarbonate installed. Perfect solar hot water temperature for a shower at 4:30, then treated myself to my first visit to the Starlight Theatre in over a month. Hadn't eaten all day so I ordered the Diego Burger.....a pound of ground beef, 3 kinds of cheese (american, swiss, pepperjack), 4 strips of bacon, 2 fried eggs, sauteed onions, pickles, pickled jalapenos, all on a giant bun with a steak knife instead of a toothpick to hold it together. I could only eat half of it and I'm still stuffed 3 hours later. 56,74,25,0,C
That's a scary looking meal. Glad they give you a knife to stop it crawling off the plate. Good job on the roofing.
ReplyDeleteThat Diego Burger looks larrupin' good!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations John, You deserved a good/big meal. Just drop the other half off over here. ;)
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Now that is a burger! I might just make the long trip to sample one of those. UM UM UM!!!
ReplyDeleteThe poly sheets look great up there...nice work, JW. And that burger looks incredible :P
ReplyDeleteDamn Good all around!
ReplyDeleteThat burger could feed a small village.
ReplyDeletenicely done on the roof, will you plant veggies in the spring?
That is an amazing looking burger. Do they ship overnight to Chicago?
ReplyDeleteThat top photo reminded me of Texas Stadium.
ReplyDeleteI betcha that ifn you start shipping them burgers around the country, you could make a lot more than you are doing with post cards and t shirts combined. Not that the post cards and t shirts are not a good idea.
ReplyDeleteMy buddy and I split one of those last time we were down there. It put us in a food coma for the next 6hrs. Damn good burger though.
ReplyDeleteJohn showed up here for a visit earlier and dropped off the other half. Thanks John. Even half was a big meal!
ReplyDeleteThat's some burger. Ok Hwa and I will split one next time we're at the Starlight.
ReplyDeleteGood looking work on the roof. The end is in sight!
