looking for benita...

Warmed up just enough to get out and about.  Too windy for gutter work so I thought I would go on a longhorn hunt....a bit worried about my prize cow.  Three hours driving - one hour hiking.  Good news is that she left 2 days ago with about 20 others and I didn't find a single longhorn today.  Hopefully they all found their secret place they go to when it is really, really cold.  She at least could have called...45,60,11,0,W

    Im sure Benita and the rest of the heard got into thier spaceship or (cowship) and went to a nice warm trophical planet with lots of hay and shade trees to nap under.

    (they are probably making fun of us humans as we freeze this winter)

    Before you feed her bang on the hood of your truck and she will associate the sound with her cow treats and when you want her just bang on the hood and cows can hear a long way.

    Dang cows anyway, don't even leave a note or an iterniary or anything, not even their cell phone number,( you have given her her own cel phone??). Banging on the hood might work to get her attention if she is close but what about one of them hand held fog horns for long distance. Down there that should travel a long ways.

    I was wondering how Benita had weathered this cold spell. If she left with her gang I am sure she is fine.

    I am with Allen on the satellite tracking device. Would be fun to know where they hole up.

    frann's idea is a good one. Make a noise to associate it to feeding time. There are lots of places to hide out there...She's been around a long time and probably knows the best ones :o)

    hope you find her. i always thought you had a GPS collar on her. maybe you can put one on her and then have a "where's benita?" map on your site!

    Given all your cool projects, I'm surprised you haven't outfit her with a GPS thingy or radio transmitter of some sort. You could track her movements, plot the data to a map, etc.
