shoot'n guests
Everyone slept in this morning....then coffee and snacks. 2 hours on the shooting range then lunch. Trip to the swimming hole then beers. Dinner at the Starlight. Came home to a dust storm. 89,91,61,0,W
I gotta take my Springfield M1A rifle out to Terlingua next time I go. One of the ranges down here in South Texas I go to is only 100 yards. (I want 1000 yards) Nothing like wide open West Texas spaces.
John, I've been following your blog for some time now. Your life is so very VERY different from mine here in Northern California. You spend your day with longhorns, I spend mine with little children.
But I have to tell you that I get such a kick out of your posts. I love the pictures. Have to hand it to you...you definitely stay busy at the most interesting tasks.
For me? I'll finish the patio and start building the new garden boxes. Then the children and I will plant in them.
As they say "nice grouping". Please be safe. Just heard about the fire south of Marfa on the Shurley Ranch.
ReplyDeleteGood shooting, but this wind really sucks.
ReplyDeleteNow that sounds like my kinda day. Nice shootin', Tex!
ReplyDeleteHow's the Grub Shack coming on the mod? Do they have a blog or website?
Sounds like a good day.

ReplyDeleteYa'll are good shots.
ReplyDeleteMy son would love this. Your getting a dust storm and it won't stop raining here. Love the pics thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGood Shootin'!
