Gonna have to come to Terlingua to get cooled off. Hard to believe it is hotter and drier here in the piney woods of East Texas than it is out your way.
... as someone with an Arkansas drawl said when describing the Gov. of Texas : “He’s a good-looking rascal.” Looks like it was a fine day for a dip and all the wildlife had to be appreciative of the oasis you created.
If the pond would stay full, what is the maximum depth it will achieve? Can the wildlife get to the water or are you having to pull water for them. Like someone else said it is nice that you have been able to create a watering hole especially with the drought Texas has had this year.
would love be there in the water, early a.m with some SanAnton beautifull ladies -imported 1 weekend- for the event...just dreaming, as if were me (i would do so). Those beautifull places exist for that purpose john...

These are the things I love about today's post, and this photo: 1. Water in the desert, and in this current drought. 2. Said water helping out your critters. 3. You chillin' out in the water. 4. You have a lady friend there with you, to share it with, and to take your picture. Way To Go!
