I'm wondering how one would get a dent in a cast iron pot.
He didn't say it had a dent, he said he reconditioned it, generally that means he cleaned it real good and wiped a bunch of good fat on it and heated it for an hour or two.
Lots of good stuff today. I really liked the link to The Universe Today. Tons of great information there. The external bell on the phone must mean you've missed a few calls! Love those cast iron pots. They do require a bit of tender loving care, though. The large square metal tube is awesome! Have any plans for it? Of course you do, or at least some vague sense of future purpose. I know you'll come up with some use for it eventually.
I really don't get the pay phone thing but the chunk of steel tubing is cool.

what looks like a dent is a dimple where one of the legs is located.
