plumb-trimmed
Trimmed the south end of the rafters and added the last purlin. This is the gutter side of the barn roof...destined to capture 346 gallons per inch of rain. Finished off all the purlin screws - 312 total. Been watering but otherwise neglecting my future food source. All my attention lately has gone to raising beef that will never be eaten. Greenhouse salad for dinner tonight - mexico midget tomatoes, malabar spinach, swiss chard, holy basil. 60,76,49,0,B, .84
From the picture above, it appears that Ben's house is a long way from The Field Lab. Maybe he will keep the flies away from your abode. (Grin)
ReplyDeleteLaughing at the non-edible beef comment. Thank goodness for the yummy looking salad...and it's better for you. Beautiful skies out there today.
ReplyDeleteJohn did have his chance to eat SOME of what he is raising, but WASTED the food.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't that long ago when Ben became a steer.
John had his chance to dine on Rocky Mountain Oysters, but it appears that he shamefully wasted that prime source of bovine nutrition that he raised.
Opportunity missed is an opportunity lost.
Waste not want not.
You live in Heaven.
ReplyDeleteJohn, have you ever considered sprouting in your food production?
ReplyDeleteYou might even consider growing mushrooms. Some varieties are easy to grow in coffee grounds
Good work, nice photos. Bon Apitite!
