  2. In the last picture, the longhorn on the right with the downward horns. There is a longhorn like that in a field near where I live. I keep wanting to get a picture of it, but everytime I see it I don't have a camera. The horns on it hang nearly to the ground.

    Sounds like the Yates family really worked to maintain the longhorn bloodline as best they could.
    Prior to your longhorn tutorial, this was the only Yates I'd heard of in the cattle business - wonder if they were kin?;-)
