You are leary of climbing up on a horse yet strapping on a fan and a parasail doesn't give you pause. LOL you been going out in the sun without your hat?
From what I've read and seen so far - there is a better chance of the economy collapsing or the US being invaded by Russia and China than being hurt flying a PPG after good training.
PPG much more fun than a go cart buggy. PPG also one of the safest ways to fly. Can really hurt yourself if you make a stupid mistake, however, like getting too slow on landing. At least you have NO power lines or other tall obstacles to contend with! Go for it!
