bovine guildance

Napping with a huge trusting beast seems to be a great time to contemplate how I am living my life in accordance to who God says I am.  The gift of the spirit is there for the taking.  It takes discipline to be spirit led, but there is much to be gained by living up to the potential. 

Romans 8: 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

    think it is safe to say that Ben has grown into his teeth… very effective scale comparison… and yet he will appear very small as you soar countless meters overhead. I think Pablo would have been impressed by your rendition of a boy and his bull…

    I remember when you were speculating whether you would have to be wary of Ben when he grew up and developed a mature, potentially lethal rack. I guess that question has been answered- He truly seems to be "Gentle Ben".

    @ pamit: maybe some animals... in the "State of Nature", animals are dismembered alive and eaten by other animals for survival and growth, protection of territory, sometimes even for what appears to be entertainment. Ever see a cute, cuddly cat play with its dinner before it eats it?

    @WhyR, it is our close association with animals (such as John and Ben have) that can teach us compassion for other species. This doesn't mean there are no cases of gratuitous violence in the non-human animal kingdom - but you have to admit there aren't very many! Another lesson...
