barn mucker
Me'n'Ben'n'Bud got a good bit of help today. Old Joe stopped by to muck out the barn. 57,70,42,0,C
Reminds me of a job Don & I had - back when we were home for Christmas - while going to college. A big dairy farmer - who happened to be my father's boss - because he also owned a funeral home - which my Dad ran -had a whole dairy barn that needed some serious cleaning. Took us almost a week - but we got her done. Even spread all that rotted dung and hay on his fields - to make his grass grow better. Didn't take on any more jobs like that. Something you never forget!.
How does that old saying go---a friend in need is a friend indeed. Or something like that --I forgot.
ReplyDeleteWhat great friends you have! Mucking is surely above and beyond the call of duty
ReplyDeleteI always thought Ben & Bud was housebroke.?!
ReplyDelete:-)
Havin some real mild weather looks like.
ReplyDeleteCleaning the cat box is probably as close to mucking as I want to get.
ReplyDeleteYou know there is absolutely nothing more valuable than good friends. What makes a good friend is obviously you are a great friend to them.
ReplyDeleteThat pic reminds me of the neighbor from the Home Improvement show with Tim Allen.
ReplyDeleteA friend in need is a friend in deed.
ReplyDeleteOld Joe looks like a real-life Kilroy.

I thought of Tim Allen's neighbor too. Good picture!!
