flying

My buddy Brandon is coming out Monday to fly again at TFL.  Can't help but think of all the flying I have missed since I chose to roll the ATV rather that jump into the sky.  Blackhawk Ranch is one of the places I am considering for additional training once I am able.  63,76,52,0,B

  1. I might enjoy flying if it weren't for altitude & gravity.

  2. When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been..there you will always long to return-Leonardo Da Vinci

  3. Funny Sam. Me too. Flying in planes made me uneasy too. And now I do not have too so I do not.

  5. Not trying to rain on your parade here. Took me a couple of years to get any confidence in my leg. 30 years later I can still feel it for a day or 2 if I happen to jump off of something and land left leg first or if I lift a lot of weight. It's suppose to be 100 % but it doesn't feel like it. I'm always aware it's the weak link. It just feels different from the other one so I always try to remember right foot first...good luck !

  6. I may have to settle for a PPG cart for future flying.

  7. In times of difficulties, we must not lose sight of our accomplishments. The higher the tree grows, the harder the wind tries to blow it down. Yesterday at an AA meeting an anonymous police officer waved her hand and dumped my coffee on me. No big deals today. She said something about the difficulty of putting 90 days together. All kinds of people with all kinds of interests and problems. Acceptance. It is what it is.
