Beautiful and shiney. It's hard to believe you got that precious metal from silverware. It's always interesting to see where your mind is going to take us with your activities.
Extra material is used when casting the coins because the excess weight is needed in order for the sterling to completely fill the mold. The leftovers are remelted - there is no waste. The coins will go on sale from the blog around the end of May.
