  3. Very cool, I watched a half hour and will resume watching later today. --One question that comes to mind is, how is food obtained in these arid, distant encampments? I didn't see any greenhouses or irrigated gardens in the first one (Arcosanti). Coincidentally, I have recently been looking into cohousing here in Colorado, in particular Heartwood near Durango. Part of the appeal is the acreage (and I reckon, the water) to grow food and have chickens and other livestock. Hard to imagine that kind of thing in these *very* arid places.

  4. That was an interesting film and I was glad to see The Field Lab was one of the featured locations. I certainly would prefer John's Wells house - compared to many of the other dwellings. The least appealing was that tiny Glass house hanging from a chain - above the desert. looked more like a torture device - than a place you could live?
