first sale

Frequent visitor and Field Lab friend Bill Vogl stopped by today along with his daughter Kaylee.  They are doing the father/daughter thing before Kaylee goes off to Texas A&M in the fall.  They hiked the south rim in BBNP a couple of days ago.  13.5 miles over 7.5 hours with a 2000 foot elevation gain to 7100 ft.  Bill graciously purchased (including a little extra) the very first coin to go out the door to benefit the Ben'n'Bud Fund.  He didn't have cash on him so he Paypaled me from his smart phone through my wifi.  technology...  96,101,73,0,B

    I went to a yard sale and the owner was announcing to each new arrival that he would take credit cards. He had a little card reader of some kind attached to his smart phone.

    Sharp people. When I was her age, I whipped right up Mt. Fuji in Japan and slid right down. Activity like that really appeals to me. Really handy to do payment that way. But I personally do not use PayPal or any internet finances.

    I was thinking, a pagoda is 5 levels like the clouds-earth, fire, water, air or whatever. I have to look that up.

    remmij, ty. The Aggie song was good but the games captured my attention. What good clips. The men were so athletic with good plays. I could not help laughing though when a black Aggie, as gentlemanly as they all were, made long, prancing struts as he crossed the finish line, and another time the announcer yelled - touchdown, oh doctor!
