  1. I know where you are on the map, I paid $1.64 today in Hamilton County with a linked discount card. Let me tell you, this area north of Indianapolis is just starting to be congested with purchase of farmlands, mid-mid commercialism, the residential there has been there for 9 years. So it is still a good ride, good prices, the Fresh Thyme grocery store chain and a few other local grocery chains are striving to be a footprint and giving high quality, for less (+\-) for folks in the corridor of traffic. I would not be going ther from Pendleton where I live, but Mom & brother Fred Fred live ther in a B+ long term care facility. Winter has not happened. A lot of 60-70 degree days, plenty of 20 mph winds, blew all those leaves in just the right directions after 3 hard blowing so with a back pack blower (miss any of this?). Eh.. Just a few tidbit from Hoosierland

  3. Heading south on I-5 today in Calif (before the Grapevine)I saw $3.99 for diesel, it was 5 miles past the $2.99 station and right next to the sign that read "Last gas for 25 miles".
I paid $2.57 cash up the road a bit & use the gasbuddy app.

  4. Up here in Washington State not to far from the Canadian boarder in Loon Lake I paid $2.459 a gallon. There was lots of people lined up getting extra gas for generators today because of this big storm that hit us here. Biggest power outage in over 126 years in washington state.

  5. The gas costs a few or more pennies than the gas here and what is the quality. But for the moment a good price out there.

  7. San Antonio area. I wonder if the gas will jump way up after the next election. Often happens that way and I have a truck now also. I like the truck. They are very popular here too.

  8. One of the things that caught me unaware was that many western states sell Regular with an Octane of 85. IN the East, regular is 87.

some v8 engines like the 5.4 in Ford Vans do not care for the 85 octane fuel and will let you know they don't... when the engine light comes on after it starts missing...

  11. My truck is a Ford F-150 XLT. I use Shell regular in my rides here or Exxon. I damaged a truck years ago with the wrong gas.

  13. When gas gets cheap it means we’re either going into a war, or there is a presidential election or run-off time in the near future. Not sure why it tends to lean that way but historically it does seem that way. Some say it’s because we tend to pull out of oil futures, others say conspiracy . I don’t really care as I can now fill my tank with two twenties, and have change for a Dunkin’ Donuts run. I say Amen Brother.

  16. The last time I saw gas under $2 ($1.99) was the winter of 2012-2013 in Quartzsite.
