  5. HOUSE boat with screened porch. Probably bought it for a song somewhere near a lake in Central Texas where it was unseaworthy and now it's a home for the price of towing to the high desert.

    Welp, the most famous desert voyager of the 20th century once said: "The desert is an ocean in which no oar is dipped."

    But I don't think Mr. Lawrence ever said anything about inboard or sterndrive props, now did he?
