I also always feel much safer driving my full size 4x4 pickup on the raggedy ass Terlingua Ranch roads. Sometimes the road quickly gets really terrible - due to erosion or other factors. And when that happens, all that steel surrounding a passenger in a pickup truck - protects one much better. And yes, they do get stuck. I once stuck a Super Duty diesel 4x4 pickup so bad - it took two wreckers to pull me out! Didn't injure my body a bit - but made a hole in my wallet!
Good riddance! At least she didn't kill you. I vaguely remember the movie. It was scary.
