That nesting dove does not have markings like a Mourning Dove. Could it perhaps be a White Winged Dove? They like to live close to abundant sources of water - which the Field Lab certainly has!
Presently in South Dakota camping out. Several white doves camping out in neighboring trees to our campsite. Synchronicity is an interesting phenomenon.
