thanksgiving day..
Been a busy two days. 1. Got all the redundant axle ends finished. 2. Got the paramotor firmly attached to the cart. 3. Broke the pull rope on my generator - replaced it. 4. Rigged a makeshift seat so I and do some ground testing - still haven't decided on how to do the final seat rig yet so I will see if anything else breaks before I commit.
Was just about ready to fire up the machine for a ground test when I decided that Thanksgiving Day is not a good day to get hurt so I will wait til tomorrow. Looking forward to an extravagant seasonal meal tonight. Happy Thanksgiving! 67,78,52,0,B
Mine was at the Cracker Barrel in Beaumont with my sister. There were lots of families there. Hope you had a good one.
ReplyDelete"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
ReplyDeleteand into his courts with praise:
be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting;
and his truth endureth to all generations."
(Psalm 100:4-5)
Happy Thanksgiving all.
I thought about various restaurants on various days or times. I thought about opening a can of Ravioli at home and doing some laundry. A lady suggested the VFW where I am a life time member. So I went there and had melt in your mouth food. All courses. A lot of old people there like myself and home delivery. It was wonderful. I should have gotten take home so I could have some tonight. Yum, yum.
ReplyDeleteI prepared cabbage soup, millet bread and pear pie and we invited our neighbor. It was short and simple but very enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteHeibo! Where's the turkey...?
ReplyDeleteI was near Durant OK and almost stopped at the casino for the buffet but decided on another truck stop down the road. Had some fried chicken and a long nap.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Chupa wants a ride on your contraption! Are you gonna take him up with you?
Happy Thanksgiving
Hope you had a good thanksgiving. Nice little buggy you've got now. Have you thought about using hollow axles to save a little more weight?
ReplyDeleteSolid fiberglass rods seem to be the norm for the industry...they are strong, relatively light weight, and provide a good amount of spring.
