  1. This wild burro has been hanging around TFL for about a week. First he learned what carrots were all about. This is the first time he trusted me enough to be hand fed. Now he is hooked. 2. If your burros are anything like my deer, the others will smell it on his breath and follow him back.

  3. It doesn't seem to work that way with burros. Very much a one on one thing for them.

  7. My wife and I found your channel a couple weeks ago on You Tube. We watch your videos to relax. Particularly, the ones of the longhorn. And there is something about rain in the desert. Thanks for your website and channel!

  9. @Sam Finn - Yes I already started! lol - it will be probably 4 months before I can actually live on the property - I have to save money for everything - water tanks, solar, etc... heres the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmN5SmV3psA

  10. He surely is such a good, happy, pretty burro. He was just waiting for you. Your air conditioner, Pepino, just purrs right along so quietly. I liked looking out your screen door.

  11. Judy, when I was young, I bought a piece of land in the country. No one lived here. I started living on the land 20 years ago even though I bought it 50 years ago. Today, more than 40,000 people around this lake and it is the fastest growing county in the U.S. and a sought after place to live - and prices skyrocketed along with traffic.

  12. I had to laugh at the local gym manager tonight. Seniors get free membership (probably getting more money from the insurance companies than a person has to pay). He told me seniors were given free membership so they could take their money and pay a body builder. Bet me. I told him there was nothing written about that when I joined. I use the pool facilities. The gym was reorganized for the better in the last few months. There are Golds Gyms all over San Antonio. I have been a member since they opened but dropped out for a few months to a luxury gym my eye doctor said to join. Just quit that gym because a big, adult, very retarded girl wanted to be in my shower so the end (her old mean mother could not keep up or control her as she threw a temper tantrum).

  14. @Margery Bills - Gracious - that never happens! lol it is usually the opposite you hear about happening if anything! That's wonderful! I was just going to say, that would be wonderful if that happened to my little property too -- but then thought about it - when people move in they make all kinds of rules and restrictions etc., I dont think I would like that - then I bet taxes would go up... that would be nice to have a property that was worth a lot if I were planning on selling - but I have been moving about every 6 months to a year for the past 15 years... I want roots - I want stability and Im hoping it will be on that piece of property...
