I suspect those big ears help those jackrabbits to better hear all those predators trying to slip up on them and eat them! But Big Jack will be safe at the Field Lab because John no longer has a dog give that Big Jack some exercise! Our Labrador hunting dogs chase those jackrabbits every time they see one- but none have ever been caught in the 44 plus years we have been at the Terlingua Ranch.
I had a dog years ago that scratched on the door in the middle of the night. I opened the door in the darkened living room and felt something wet brush against my leg. When I flipped on the light DeeDee dog was standing there with a headless jack rabbit in her mouth. Eeeek!!
I got no problem with Google...they are paying me for all those views on my viral video plus I have already left a very long trail to follow with 9 years of daily blog posts and now bi weekly uploads on YouTube. And FYI...you cannot hide if you use the internet.

ReplyDeleteSeems like I heard the big ears help them cool their blood and/or body temperature.?
ReplyDeleteAny answer is just "a google" away.
ReplyDeleteI'm using Bing now just to throw Google off my trail.
ReplyDeleteWhat does Bing do?
ReplyDeletewww.bing.com
ReplyDeleteThis is another search engine for the web. Use it just like Google
DuckDuckGo is a better search engine and does not track your search history like Google or Bing or Yahoo.

ReplyDeleteTrue. You all are learnin me.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter just sent a video to me of Dubrovnik, Croatia, where she is on vacation having fun.
ReplyDeleteI was making a joke. Of course it would be nice in some ways if it were otherwise but I consider internet activity to be completely public.
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy ... will try DuckDuckGo.
ReplyDeleteWishing for a wabbit like these. My critters love the chasing game. They never win though.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, my female Weimaraner did win the game a few years ago with a Mocking bird. And she enjoyed the meal.
ReplyDeleteI have used DuckDuckGo for years as well as StartPage
ReplyDeleteI am a total Google whore...Google search engine, Google Chrome browser, Google Blogspot, Google YouTube, Google Adsense.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Google has its benefits. Their maps and street views are the best I've found.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah...I left out Google Maps and Google Earth
ReplyDeleteForget about the ears! Look at those huge brown eyes. It is not wonder there is a song about it... I think Simon and Garfunkel composed Brown Eyes?
