Sanding and conditioning the butcher block top of a kitchen cart I bought from Ikea 15 years ago that has been tucked away in one of my shipping containers since I moved to the desert. Using a random orbital sander, I started with 120 sandpaper first - then 240 grit. I finished the process with 4 coats of Howard BBC012 Butcher Block Conditioner (exceeds US FDA regulations for direct and indirect contact with food). I'm going to use this for dough prep.
