Rattler Rascal...

First rattlesnake I have seen in over a year at TFL...and the biggest at almost 4' long (he is a lot shorter without his body).  76,82,49,0,C

  4. Hideous things...somehow I have got to get over my fear of them or I will never be able to move to my beloved Terlingua :(

    Did you shoot it?

  5. I wouldn't be too worried about rattlesnakes. I have only seen 6 or 7 of them near my house in 10 years of living out here. I shot him in the head with a .22 rifle.

  6. I showed my 89 year mother the video of you cleaning the rattler ... she doesn't want the recipe.

  8. Did you eat him and keep the skin to tan? Makes good rattlesnake tinders (cooked like chicken tenders) and hat bands!

  9. Just noticed Sam Finn's comment about you cleaning him and found your youtube channel for the first time! Nice job cleaning him...your approach to removing the backbone works really well. Never seen it done that way.
