New (lighter) generator for the jobsite arrived today. Got a wild hair and picked up a couple of tomato plants for the greenhouse-turned-junkyard last trip to Alpine. It has been a number of years since I cultivated aphids, whiteflies, and hornworms... 59,78,71,0,W
It amazes me how all those pests show up way out there in the desert. Horn worms even?

ReplyDeleteThere is a firewall on the recipe link. I did read the comment about using a tin can cut out on both ends. May try it up here in horn worm country.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny,
ReplyDeleteThank you for appreciating my dry sense of humor...
ReplyDeleteNot really so funny. The plants are healthy and beautiful looking. Hope they grow o.k. 23 years ago here north of San Antonio a man grew some tomato plants (in rainy patch of lake). The tomatoes were delicious. I grew a peach tree and it produced the most delicious peaches like Fredericksburg. But sadly during a drought I did not water it and it died.
ReplyDeleteftw, John's wild hair… actually several of them… & Mr. Fogle…
ReplyDeleteLoL on insects comment
