I want to use 14' 1x4 furring strips for this job but my local building supply only carries 1x2s in 8' lengths. Ripping 2x4s in half is a lot cheaper than buying their standard 1x4s. Other than potential safety hazard seemed to work fine. But then again you are in Texas so maybe they don't have the same *&(*&^$#(_%W safety rules there.
Lol @ Carl. :-) Well, good job again, John. I just wanted to crawl right in the picture and enjoy the area and view. Imagine being able to do all that out there without even having electricity. You might live a long time John with all the work and moving around that you do. That is so beneficial.

ReplyDeleteI was at the lake today and this area is booming. The population has gone up around here by another 1/2 million. Much traffic.
