  2. Don & I have to replace the door to our Mahan Hunt Cabin - so I watched your film - showing two doors being installed. But frankly - I didn't learn much - because the film rolled much too fast for my 83 year old brain! --------------------------------------------That door has an interesting history! When Dad moved the cabin to Terlingua ranch - there was no door installed there - so Dad just closed the opening with some plywood. After about another 10 years - Don replaced the front door of his Pasadena home - and he figured it would be serviceable for our Hunt Cabin and much better than a plywood non opening door! So - he replaced the plywood with his old front door. And to keep his old front door from falling apart (in the hostile Terlingua sun - he installed a metal cover - cut from a huge Jax Beer sign. My wife even decorated the metal facing with an oil painting - of a ranch scene. And all was well for another 30 years. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------But Time has taken it's toll - and the door must be replaced again. Don is bring a new metal door & door facing & the retired hardware

  6. I wondered about that too. But my doctor in Juneau always said when I sometimes visited his office, “well, you are up and walking around, you must be o.k.” The doctor in San Antonio had a fit, though, and was shocked that I never had this or that usual yearly test. So I told him I was well. But I took the tests anyway. And I was well. Now I am undergoing heart tests which I asked for. My dogs, last year, pressed their nose hard into my heart. Dogs are amazing. And the Cardiologist confirmed something but I did not catch the words. I just got back from the pool. Exercise really can be very good.
