The bad news is the worldwide daily infection rate just hit yet another record high. The good news is we will have a new president soon who won't ignore the pandemic. The really unfortunate bad news is - no matter what measures Biden puts in place to turn the tide on the pandemic, there are still millions of ignorant Covid-denying Trump supporters out there that will ignore the efforts.
So glad we have one step forward!!!

ReplyDeletePeople are resisting public health recommendations all over the world....well, a lot of of it...protests in Europe..I guess the Asian continent is doing pretty well with it.
ReplyDeleteI just have to remind myself this is not a new phenomenon. Look at the history of epidemiology. I myself am going to continue to feel a little cheered up today.
