Pandemic Saturday

Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine just approved.  "No more tears"?  There will probably be plenty more tears as we may reach 1 million dead by the end of this year because millions are still Covid deniers...not to mention the millions of idiots who are anti-vaxxers.  75,84,52,0,B

  1. That will be a sad milestone for sure. I think some people are just unsure about a under tested vaccine not necessarily anti vax. People have grown tired of all the fear porn. Not that they're right just tired.

  3. I've had both doses, Moderna. Second dose 2/2/21. Did you get yours?

  5. I'm not close to being eligible for the vaccine in my state(Indiana) but I'm slightly hesitant about getting it. Not anti vax at all, I think vaccines have greatly improved all of our lives but still a little iffy. But cases do seem to be going down. Hopefully the vaccine along with some herd immunity is helping.

  6. Brian - Healthy skepticism is...healthy. But we're way past that. For the sake of your community, family, and self, get the vaccine. The first one available, ASAP.
Got my 2 Modernas. No side effects.
Now I might sprout a third arm in the middle of my back later. If so, then that's still the one I'd like to use to throttle the antivaxxers and COVID denialists.

  7. I sounded harsh. Didn't mean to. Just a suggestion.

May the Fauci be with you.

  9. So, the governor lifted the mask mandate today. I will be interested in the statistics, but also am not optimistic at all. Guess we'll see. I've had my first Moderna with no problem, second one this week was delayed due to shipping problems as a result of the hyper-cold. I do wish patience was a bit more available. It's hard. And I'm tired of it. But I am also old, so it really doesn't affect me horribly to lay low.
