You are a man of integrity John. You felt responsible for his mother's death and you took it on yourself to care for him. Not only have you cared for him, you built the Taj Mahal of stalls for him and pampered him like a king. He is one of God's creatures, and you are indeed a man of God. Blessings to you.
John, remember the mule who was hit by a car and left to die, that you brought attention to you back before Ben, even? I have forgotten his name, but... he was taken in by Longhopes and they worked mightily to save him. Sadly he got entangled by the suspension cables in his sling and passed away. That was my introduction to Longhopes, who I still support financially to this day.
God bless the animals. I think they are more His creatures than are we. That's sacrilege to some, I'm sure, but to me it rings true.
the lil' orphan couldn't have a better "momma"
ReplyDeletestill recall you posting Ben skip/prancing around -
he's probably outgrown dancing with his "mom" now
I still remember that day and her mother dying. Time sure goes by fast.
