Cool job with the corrugated tin. But I think that's the first time I saw a scowl on the girl's pretty face. Guess she doesn't like barriers in her usually wide open world. Good work on the door, JW.
John is there anyway you would consider doing a calendar? I would love to have one to send to friends outside of the country. It would be cool to have one of the the goings on around the Lab with Benita and Mr Floppy Ears in there somewhere. But also of some of the places we have heard about around the Terlingua area. And maybe even places we havent heard of yet.
John, I would love to see some sort of Portfolio of your building plan and what designs (sidewalls, room designs, etc.) you developed to start this project. A good friend just turned me on to your blog, so I apologize for being "late to the party".
I really like the design of those doors. Very nice; don't know what Benita thinks about it though!

ReplyDeleteBenita says "MOO!" Which means let me in or let me out (Which ever the case may be).
ReplyDeleteHow did you cut the holes so perfect? Very nice job
ReplyDeleteBeautiful
ReplyDeleteGood shot of Benita, the rabbit, and the beautiful doors.
ReplyDeleteJust when I think it can't get more awesome, it does. The pic of Benita reminds me of a very old song.
ReplyDelete"Oh give me land
Lots of land
Under starry skies above
Don't fence me in"
Very nice.
ReplyDeleteBenita sure is a beautiful longhorn. Love that picture of her.
ReplyDeleteDamn good job on hanging those doors, that's a great fit.
Great Work John and Yeah Benita looks a little perplexed.
ReplyDeleteVery Postmodern looking! You are the Michael Graves of the Desert!
