moments of silence...

Alpine supply run today for door hardware and other stuff.  Took the time to stop and ponder markers on 118 where 2 lives ended.  94,102,68,0,B

  1. Hopefully someone who drinks or drugs and drives will think again. Worse than killing yourself is being responsible for someone else's passing.

  2. One would have to assume the road wasn't much of a factor. I drove 118 to Alpine once, that's about as straight a stretch of road as one can find.

I'm assuming someone feel asleep behind the wheel, or alcohol/drugs were involved. Sad either way.

A flat, at high temperatures can explote a tire...be aware, not allways alcohol as somene commented, it gets really HOT, it happened to me 11 years ago same road same days of the month same heat as at present, tires get extreemly HOT in long extense driving at this time of the year...

  5. In West Texas most fatal wrecks are one car roll overs...Long roads, people just take a nap!
