parts is parts...
Prepping parts, growing greens, chewed cables, and sleeping cows...life in the slow lane. 75,89,51,0,B
Just a thought John human compose is a good fertilizer for none eatable plants .I think it would be a wise thing not to use it on eatable plant.What do you think?
I say run any exposed cable through conduit if possible, and bury the conduit where practical. That, and the pepper spray! Maybe they get a charge out of the electrical current, and it makes them strangely happy. Who knows...

PVC pipe is dessert for them. They like it better than cable.

I have lots of experience with cows, mules. rodents and PVC.
Another trick is to wrap hardware cloth around the cable or PVC.
