cold day two
Four inches of snow overnight....cloudy and cold all day and only about half the snow melted. All the critters made it through (including Mr. Floppy) Ben and Bud spent most of the day in the barn with plenty of fresh hay, snacks, water, and shelter. Carl got plenty of house time this morning. The hens won't give me another egg till it warms up.. Lots'o'photos coming tomorrow (sunny with a high of 60). 33,40,31,4"snow,B,0
Great news! And especially glad to know Floppy's ok too. Can't wait to see pics tomorrow! Gig'em Aggies!
ReplyDeleteGlad you all survived the snow storm. Is that the first one since you have been out there at the Field Lab? Saw the pictures that David posted. You got quite a bit of snow for sure.
ReplyDeletewow I heard 10" in Terlingua. How the temp in your house in these kinds of temp?
ReplyDeleteMy hens lay if there is enough light; they don't really slow down much in the cold.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see what it looks like there in the snow (hint, hint).
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear everyone huddled up for warmth. Mr. Floppy knows where home is!
