Tony Michael Flint, 37, was released from Brewster County Jail on $200,000 bond this week. He was being held in connection with the Feb. 4 death of Terlingua bar owner Glenn Felts.
Flint, who was a river guide with ties to Colorado and elsewhere, admitted to Deputy Sheriff Sean Roach after Felts had been found dead in the parking lot of his bar that the two had been drinking heavily and left the bar together about midnight.
He said Felts had fallen and hit his head on a rock. But witnesses and other evidence at the scene suggested there had been a fight at the bar.
There was a funeral service for Felts Saturday and people came from several states to attend
They still look like they are on guard.
