"Just me" - who filled in some of the blanks in the comments section when I dropped off the map, offered to build me a ramp while I was still in the hospital.  I had been thinking one would really make rolling life easier so I "jumped" at the offer knowing she could get the job done right and on time.  Stilt House Ben added the 2x4 railing.  In and out was good to go by the time I got home.  23,33,24,0,W

  3. Happy New Year John and everyone. I enjoyed reading your blogs this year. TY. The fireworks and bangs and pops are going off where I live on a lake outside San Antonio. 250,000 people are expected in Hemisfair downtown San Antonio tonight. The roads might be iced here so I am going to forego the private dance and celebrate with the t.v. My daughter was a security volunteer at a mall with bands tonight and is celebrating the fireworks etc. by the Potomac outside D.C.

  4. Glad you are doing Well John. Hope you heal fast. I think we all we concerned for your well being when you got hurt. Hope you have a great New Years resting and enjoying the peace and quiet. It is loud and getting crazy here in San Antonio. Fire works all over the place and loud music from the parties on almost every block LOL

  7. Oops, how do I do that - and I wonder why I have what looks like a garbage can by the time posted. I have to admit I am not that computer savvy. My interest in that was 1/2 of 1% on a scale of 100 but I am awe struck with this new technology.

  14. Handy friends are a great asset. Hope 2015 doesn't present a greater need for them however ;) Best of luck healing up and it was a pleasure meeting you recently, as well as Ben and Bud! My girls will have a unique show and tell for school next week :)

  18. I noticed what Remmij wrote. You know when I lived in Alaska many years ago it was like a planned attack against some people with them using 3-wheelers and ATV's. There were a lot of deaths and accidents. I think that sticking with a truck or other vehicle might be better in the long run. They go by my house here on the ATV's piled up with people maybe drinking or drugging laughing and raucous and waving around and yelling. I guess it shows status. We have arrived. We are on an ATV.

  19. Well, I can't talk anyway because I have to settle an auto accident for the next while because of debris in the road from construction, etc. (not my fault).

  20. @Margery Bills - appears it was almost exactly a year ago that the quad came to visit from the PMC…

John - how about a current portrait of the 4wheel, fire breathing bronc…? much/any damage to the lil beast?
were you sporting a noggin nest at the time of the incident?
Also, in regard to the ambulatory porch, where did the hen houses get relocated to? Seem to recall that was prime real estate for them… and the Donk Crew even came up on the porch occasionally.
btw, How does one prove one is not a roobutt?
