A couple of days before the accident, I was messing with my tracking circuit and inadvertently crossed some wires and blew it. For those of you that don't know...circuit boards are filled with magic and if they smoke - the magic is released and they no longer function. I ended up just parking the rig in the center position till it could be fixed. A couple of days ago I got the new tracking circuit and decided I would put it in today. Now at least something is back on track at TFL. 38,53,42,0,W

ReplyDeleteOh, For a laugh, I will say.. put the red wire on the positive terminal and the black one on the negative terminal. I didn't do that one time .. jumping the car battery was not a good story.
ReplyDeleteWe'll see there, you did not need to sit there and do jigsaw puzzles like seniors do to occupy your current recoup time. You could redo circuits. I might get a partial privacy fence for another incoming building neighbor. At least no one uses privacy spy drones around here. That's a nice picture by the way John.

ReplyDeleteI noticed your complexion has lightened since previously. That's what I could not get over in Alaska some years ago. People would go there from down here and look normal. But as time went on they got lighter and lighter and lighter in the sub zero dreary weather.

we've not taken our dog on some trails out west because they had signs saying "no dogs - rattlesnakes".
is that something dogs learn pretty quick or is there a high mortality rate with dogs in rattlesnake country?
back east - dogs gets bit by copperheads but if gotten to the vet, they usually recover ...
There is a rattlesnake shot for dogs. Yes, dogs can die without the shot. My dogs killed some small rattlesnakes. I have not gotten them the shot yet. The big rattlesnakes I drove away slamming a shovel by their head. One big rattlesnake lived under my house one winter but he couldn't get in, so he shed his skin and went away and a new neighbors builder shot a rattler. I have a picture of my chihuahua in the air with a small snake in his mouth taking care of business. The new neighbor is coming where the Cougar visited. The Mountain Lion will eat a Great Danes head or a small dog or try for a human.
ReplyDeleteAt Big Bend an Austin man got a Cougar off his 4 yr. old sons head with a knife. The child is o.k. I had a Mountain Lion leave by talking and shining a flashlight in his beautiful eyes. He/she was 4 ft. away waiting to pounce on my back.
