switched to laser
Finally gave up on inkjet printers...the main reason being that I can't remember the last time I printed anything in color. The other reasons being inkjet cartridges dry out pretty quick in low humidity and the printer I had wouldn't let me print just black if one of the color cartriges was too low. A monochrome laser printer is pretty cheap now and all I need to pump out shipping labels. 85,96,71,0,B
Interesting.
ReplyDeleteSmart move in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI just might get one too.
ReplyDeleteGood move. AC and laser printing. It's a brave new world...
ReplyDeleteboth have surge voltage demands though.. John's battery set must be up to it.. or perhaps John is also contemplating hooking up to the grid? bite my tongue! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIs that what it is. I might just do that next April 15th. When I hit print for a hard copy...nothing.So every year I'm off to buy a new black cartridge. Now if someone will explain to me why it's only the black cartridge. The color one is like 5 years old.It has to be in worse shape that the black one.
ReplyDeleteMr. Wells, I just viewed, for the first time, your video on YouTube. Kudos to you, sir.
ReplyDeleteIf I may ask, how reliable is your internet out there? Also, about what speed do you have for your internet connection? I currently, and have for more than 15 years, live in Southeast Asia. I am considering moving back to the US, if I can find a place to live completely off-grid.
Thanks,
Paul
