    JW...you oughta get one of those game cameras and set it up to capture the wildlife getting their nocturnal water sips. Might see a big cat, or two.

    In that environment you'll get lots of sand and what not to the dam with the water. When do you think is the first time to start dredging?

    I live in a desert climate too, not SW Texas, but arid most of the year. I haven't seen a drop of rain in months and seeing all that water flowing in, mud and all, just made me...happy.
